Meningie, South Australia – Coorong District Council submitted a grant application under the Federal Government’s Murray-Darling Basin Economic Development Program to improve the Meningie foreshore and create economic opportunities for the town. As part of these upgrades, the jetty was upgraded along with a boat mooring facility which would increase berthing capabilities to sixteen, 12m long vessels.
Treadwell was engaged to supply the grating and wave fastening system for these upgrades.

- Selected material had to be robust to withstand exposure to corrosive weather conditions.
- Fastening system had to be easily installed from the top surface.
