Treadwell Group offers FRP solution for substation switch tower

For this switch tower platform project, the design requirements were efficiently met, leveraging the inherent RF transparency and non-conductive properties of Treadwell’s Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) products. To optimise installation, accessibility, and minimise maintenance, GratEX® FRP square grating was specified as the material of choice. The anti-slip surface of the grating ensured enhanced safety for platform users.
