Turnkey FRP Platform for Sydney Trains

Treadwell specialises in compliant and long-lasting FRP structures. This structure would be installed in the harsh outdoor climate, and needed to be corrosion resistant, non-conductive, and lightweight for easy installation. RF transparency was also key to ensure non-interference with communications.  

Utilising Treadwell’s GratEX® FRP grating, ArchitEX® FRP structural profiles, and RailEX® FRP profiles, Sydney Trains received a composite structure that met their requirements. The project was completed within the stipulated timeframe, ensuring no disruptions to daily operations. The use of FRP also reduced costs related to transport, installation and labour.
