FRP grating replaces existing wharf decking.

Where traditional materials were once specified, structures made from them generally live a short life. Part of Treadwell’s scope is to refurbish these structures, prolonging the structure and surroundings with a much longer design life.

This particular wharf stood out amongst our list of projects as the area allowed to retrofit it was limited, making installation difficult and tedious.

Treadwell had a solution given the experience accumulated. GridEX® was deployed this instance. Specifically designed to be used in restrictive spaces and providing the right strength, being light in weight helped tremendously as well, GridEX® ensures performance and a long design life in the challenging environment the wharf is situated in.
