ArchitEX™ FRP Structural Profiles Installed at Glenfield Junction Train Station

The rebuild of the South West Rail Link at Glenfield Junction has resulted in a more modern, safer, and accessible station. This entire project was notably innovative yet complex, requiring ingenuity to execute seamlessly despite the site’s constrained nature, as critical rail operations in Sydney had to proceed without disruption.

ArchitEX™ FRP channels were integral to ensuring the reliability of Glenfield Station’s track system. These FRP profiles were installed with ease, and their beneficial properties such as non-conductivity, RF transparency, and chemical resistance made them highly suitable for the application. Furthermore, all installed structures will require minimum maintenance in the future.
